Ewww! Who gave that to you? That is gross. Gifts should be screened. At least you got the good chocolate to make up for it.
I think I agree with Shaine: who on earth gave you THAT? Had to be a boy, right? Surely no little girl would even think of such a thing. And what did you SAY (or did you just laugh)?! I had no idea the life of a second grade teacher was so fraught with danger.
Actually, it was a girl. And she's the type who can be sweet one moment and vengeful another, so it could've been a nice gift, or a purposefully mean one. I'm going with the former. :-) When I got it I just smiled and tried not to laugh. I mean, a rat? Really???
