Ren: Hi Mommy!
Me: Hi.
Ren: You're not sick.
Me: Actually, I am a little sick.
Ren: No, you're not sick.
Me: Okay, fine. I'm not sick.
Ren: You're happy!
Me: (Dredge up a smile from somewhere, obviously not convincing.)
Ren: You're happy!!!

Can you be a bossy optimist?
Lol. Ben does this when I tell him I'm sad (especially if it's because he didn't make a good choice). "Mommy not sad! Mommy happy!" He'll say. He thinks he can convince me he's not in trouble. :-P
I'm SURE it's possible to be a bossy optimist--especially if you don't want to get in trouble ;) .
Hope you're feeling better!
